What Do You Think To Video Baby Monitors?

I think I might go buy one at the weekend. I've taken the step of putting Amelia upstairs for all her naps and at bedtime but I feel really uncomfortable... if she's downstairs though the tv wakes her reguarly through the evening. :(

What do people think to them?

We have one but we never use the video part. I actually got it at a yardsale for $10!

It displays the baby in black and white on your TV. It's kinda cool but only if you're staring at the TV. Be warned though, the handheld part eats batteries quickly. We can't take it off the charger in our room for that reason. It could just be ours though. Who knows..

I was planning on having in plugged in all the time anyway unless I go outside. I just can't decide whether to get one or not!
