Does it make you want to go over and shout at them? I couldn't believe the way a women addressed her child the other day when I was walking to the Post Office. The kid must of been about 4-5 and he was walking a little way infront of her near the main road in our village, when he got to a side street he was about to step out and suddenly she started shouting at the kid, "What have I told you about not watching the road, you're going to get run over one day you stupid boy, you're really getting on my nerves today!" and that was the edited version! :(
I personally think the kid shouldn't of been walking in front of her like anyway but you definately shouldn't of shouted at him that way!
Does anyone else see this alot? Does it annoy you to the point where you wanna go and shout at the mother too?

Honestly no matter how mild you think you will be sometimes the frustration of saying things over and over you do get a bit miffed. The words she chose were not the best but it's not always sugar and honey when you deal with your kids.
I hate to hear it too. Sometimes I wish I could take the kids away from the mom. Yes, we can get frustrated and angry but we shouldn't take it out on the kids. It would be better to catch the frustration before it reaches that level. That, of course, takes practice. :)
Of course IMO, some people should just NOT be parents. I know a few of them personally.:(

There are some bad a$$ kids out there. My girlfriend had three of them. I hated when she wanted to visit with them because no matter what she said or did they never listened. I know it's partially something to do with her as well but jesus I could see myself yelling at them until I had a heart attack. I think parenting is a lot different now than when we were kids because of the rush of life and the fact that there aren't as many stay at home moms.

Well, I think it depends on the situation. If a kid breaks free from his mother and runs infront of a car, then yes, Yelling is understandable. HOWEVER, i've seen women be nasty and vulgar for no damn reason, simply because they are frustrated. That's NOT ok. and it's NEVER ok to name call a child... EVER!

It was more her attitude to the child that annoyed me.
